I really had difficulties picking the right gallery for this one because it contains photography as well as a fineliner drawing and the use of photoshop... suggestions (and comments, of course) more than welcome :)

sieht echt sehr cool aus, is der rauch wirklich vom foto oder reinretuschiert?... die passende kategorie wäre vielleicht mixed media ; )

dankeschön :D der rauch ist tatsächlich auf dem foto... ich hab viiiiiel zeit damit verbracht, die kerze immer und immer wieder auszublasen und dann rauchschwaden zu fotografieren, bis es halbwegs brauchbar war :D

That's really good :)

I love the way you've matched the shapes in the smoke with the dynamic curves of your inked lines. You've got a really natural sense of style :thumbsup:

The extra cross-wise inserted pictures are cool too. :) They make me think about how it is possible to stare into the changing patterns of smoke for ages and think about other memories.

I've tried drawing over photographs before, but I've never seen it done so skillfully. I love how you've followed the contours of the smoke. The only apt desciption I feel I can put is that it looks like music, lol.
